The OTF-1500X-5Z tube furnace is engineered to support complex thermal processing tasks in materials science, such as gradient functional materials development, high-temperature phase transitions, and recrystallization studies. Its design incorporates a mullite processing tube with an outer diameter of 100 mm and an inner diameter of 92 mm, extending 1600 mm in length, suitable for vacuum or low-pressure environments below 0.02 MPa.
This furnace features five independently controlled silicon carbide (SiC) heating zones, each managed by a dedicated PID temperature controller capable of maintaining temperature accuracy within ±1°C. The total heating zone length is 1219 mm, segmented into zones of 12″, 8″, 8″, 8″, and 12″ respectively, allowing for the creation of precise thermal gradients up to 100°C/cm by using standard zone spacers or adjusting thermal insulation between zones.

구성 및 작동 안내
The furnace includes two thermal blocks for insertion inside the tube to assist with temperature uniformity. Flange supports to prevent tube rotation are available as optional accessories. The silicon carbide heating elements are consumable and should be replaced as needed.
Use of graphite crucibles inside the alumina tube is not recommended. For gas flow applications, a two-stage pressure regulator must be installed to maintain gas pressure below 3 PSI, and flow rates should be limited to under 200 SCCM. Vacuum operation is safe up to 1300°C for mullite tube furnaces.
Optional laptop-based control software with wireless remote operation can be provided for enhanced temperature profile management and data logging.
