OTF-1100X-III-VT Large Vertical Tube Furnace with 1200°C Max Temperature, 1000mm Heating Length, and Vacuum Flanges for Annealing and Sintering
The OTF-1100X-III-VT is engineered for advanced laboratory processes requiring precise high-temperature treatment of materials in a controlled atmosphere. Its vertical tube configuration accommodates large quartz tubes, enabling uniform heating for annealing, diffusion, and sintering applications. The furnace supports vacuum or low-pressure environments, essential for reducing contamination and enabling specialized material processing.
This model integrates three independently programmable heating zones spanning a total length of approximately 1000 mm, with a stable constant temperature zone of about 350 mm. The maximum operating temperature reaches 1200°C, controlled by Eurotherm controllers with high accuracy. The furnace includes vacuum sealing flanges and high-temperature silicon O-rings to maintain vacuum levels down to 10^-2 torr, facilitating processes under reduced pressure.

Configuration & Operating Notes
The furnace includes ceramic tube blocks that must be fully inserted before heating to minimize heat radiation and improve energy efficiency. Vacuum sealing flanges come with silicon O-rings and needle valves for controlled vacuum environments. A thermal couple insert port on the right flange facilitates temperature calibration.
Quartz tubes are fragile and must be handled carefully; warranty does not cover breakage. The furnace is designed for vacuum or low-pressure operation below 0.2 bar absolute pressure. Gas flow rates should be limited to under 200 SCCM to avoid thermal shock to the quartz tube. A two-stage pressure regulator is recommended for gas supply to maintain safe operating pressures below 3 PSI.
Optional accessories include a calibration kit with a K-type thermocouple and temperature calibrator, KF40 vacuum right-angle valve for easier pump connections, turbopumps for high vacuum down to 10^-5 torr, and quartz boats for sample handling. The furnace can be customized into a vertical configuration upon request.
