MSK-H2300-ER Roll-to-Roll Hot Rolling Press with 15T Pressure, 200°C Max Temperature, and 300mm Wide Hardened Rollers
The MSK-H2300-ER is engineered to address the need for precise hot rolling of thin films and foils in research and production environments, particularly for battery electrode fabrication and composite material densification. It enables continuous roll-to-roll processing with controlled temperature and pressure to improve material density and surface finish.
This press utilizes electrically heated rollers capable of reaching up to 200°C with uniform temperature distribution, combined with a hydraulic pressure regulation system that maintains stable pressure up to 15 tons throughout the calendaring process. The rollers are 300mm wide and made from hardened steel with a surface hardness of HRC 60-62, suitable for soft metals and polymer films but not for materials harder than 50HRC.
Key Features
- Patented electrically heated rollers with precise PID temperature control up to 200°C ±2°C.
- Hydraulic pressure regulation system ensures consistent pressure up to 15 tons adjustable via touchscreen.
- Roller width of 300mm and diameter of 200mm with surface hardness HRC 60-62 for durability and minimal hardness loss at high temperature.
- Rolling gap adjustable from 0.03 to 1.5mm by stepper motor with thickness accuracy better than ±1.5μm for uniform samples.
- Maximum rolling speed of 4 meters per minute for efficient processing.
- Integrated PLC control with large touchscreen interface for setting and monitoring pressure, temperature, rolling speed, and data logging.
- Optional roll-to-roll system (MSK-E2300RD) available for automated unwinding and winding of sheets.

Configuration & Operating Notes
The MSK-H2300-ER includes a PLC touchscreen control system for easy operation and data logging. The optional MSK-E2300RD roll-to-roll system can be integrated for automated sheet unwinding and winding. Users must clean rollers with acetone after each use and apply anti-rust lubricant if the machine is idle for extended periods. Materials harder than 50HRC should not be processed to avoid damage. Multi-step thickness reduction is recommended, with decrements no greater than 0.02 mm per pass. Avoid exceeding 200°C to prevent roller deformation. Regular lubrication of roller bearings is advised to extend service life. The machine is not suitable for hazardous or flammable environments.
