GSL-1600X-CFM Mist-CVD Furnace for Continuous Carbon Nanotube Growth up to 1600°C with Programmable Drum Collection
The GSL-1600X-CFM is engineered for the continuous production of carbon nanotubes using a mist chemical vapor deposition (Mist-CVD) process. This system enables the generation of carbon nanotubes by delivering a carbon-containing liquid vapor mist into a high-temperature furnace zone, where nanotube formation occurs. The nanotubes are then continuously collected on a rotating drum, facilitating scalable synthesis for research and development applications.
Operating within a temperature range of 800°C to 1600°C, the furnace features a 290 mm heating zone length and supports precise temperature programming with 30 segments and ±1°C accuracy. The carbon mist is introduced through three alumina tubes arranged at a 7° angle, with smaller alumina tubes delivering the vapor mist directly into the heating zone. The system includes a digital syringe pump capable of handling syringes from 0.4 mm to 30 mm diameter, providing controlled pumping rates from 0.001 to 20 mm/min to generate the mist via compressed gas.
