This model integrates a motorized sample stage offering two degrees of freedom: linear Y-axis movement for precise cutting spacing and full 360° azimuthal rotation for optimal sample alignment. The cutting process is digitally controlled via a 7-inch LCD touchscreen with PLC, allowing programming of cutting speed, slicing thickness, depth, wire speed, and cutting cycles for repeatable results.

The standard package includes a diamond cutting wire (0.45 mm diameter) and two water pumps for fluid circulation. Proper use of cutting fluids, preferably oil-based or lubricated coolants mixed with water, is essential to prevent corrosion and mechanical damage. Direct use of tap water is not recommended. For cutting sticky or resinous materials, frequent wire sharpening using the included dressing stone is advised by cutting the sample alongside the stone to maintain wire sharpness. Regular cleaning after each use is necessary to ensure longevity and performance.
