The KSL-1800X-KA3 is designed for laboratory applications requiring ultra-high temperature heat treatment, such as sintering high-purity ceramics without contamination from heating elements. Its spacious 18-liter chamber (10″x10″x12″) accommodates various sample sizes while maintaining precise temperature control.
This furnace achieves temperatures up to 1800°C for short durations (less than 1 hour) and supports continuous operation at 1750°C. The heating elements are made from Kanthal Super-1900 molybdenum disilicide (MoSi2), known for high-temperature stability and longevity. Temperature is regulated by a high-precision SCR digital controller with ±1°C accuracy and programmable 30-segment profiles, enabling complex ramping, dwelling, and cooling cycles.
