YLJ-HP100-XX 24T Laminating Hot Press with Dual Digital Temperature Controllers, 135×135 mm Heated Platens, Up to 750°C
The YLJ-HP100-XX hot press is engineered for laboratory lamination tasks requiring controlled heat and pressure, such as preparing polymer composites, ceramic samples, and solid-oxide electrolyzer cells (SOEC). This model integrates a 24-ton hydraulic press with two independently controlled heated platens, enabling precise temperature management during pressing processes.
The platens measure 135 x 135 mm and are constructed from hardened Cr12MoV alloy for the 500°C version or SS310 alloy for the 750°C version, both featuring CNC-ground flat surfaces with less than 0.05 mm parallelism deviation and surface roughness below 2 microns. Water cooling jackets are incorporated to facilitate rapid cooling of the heated plates, supporting continuous operation at elevated temperatures.

Typical Applications
The YLJ-HP100-XX is ideal for lamination and pressing tasks in materials research, including polymer and ceramic sample preparation, and fabrication of solid-oxide electrolyzer cells (SOEC). Its precise temperature and pressure control make it suitable for advanced materials development requiring uniform heat and force application.
Configuration & Operating Notes
The hydraulic pump and cylinder are designed as separate units for ease of maintenance. Manual operation is standard, with an optional electric hydraulic pump available for automatic pressure control. The system requires connection to an external water chiller (not included) for platen cooling. Users should ensure sample thickness does not exceed 58 mm and avoid exceeding the maximum piston travel of 80 mm. The pressure gauge reading differs from actual sample pressure and should be interpreted accordingly. This hot press can be operated inside gloveboxes with inert gases such as argon or nitrogen.
