MSK-AFA-MC400 Roll-to-Roll Pilot Coating System with Multiple Coating Heads and Optional Multi-Zone Convection Drying Oven
The MSK-AFA-MC400 is engineered to address the challenges of pilot-scale roll-to-roll coating processes, enabling precise application of various slurry formulations onto flexible substrates. It accommodates a broad range of coating heads, allowing users to select the optimal method for their specific material and thickness requirements. This system is suitable for substrates such as copper, aluminum, and polymer films including PET, PP, and PE.
The system integrates an optional convection drying oven with one to three heating zones, each independently temperature-controlled up to 150°C, facilitating efficient drying and curing of coated films. The modular design supports continuous and intermittent coating modes depending on the selected coating head and process parameters.

Compressed air supply must be regulated within specified pressure limits for safe operation. Atmosphere plasma treatment is available as an optional add-on to enhance substrate surface energy for improved coating adhesion.
