GSL-1750X-60 Bench-Top Vacuum and Atmosphere Tube Furnace with Kanthal Super-1800 Heating Elements
The GSL-1750X-60 tube furnace is engineered for laboratory applications requiring high-temperature processing under vacuum or controlled gas atmospheres. It is particularly suited for sintering new material samples and conducting chemical research where precise temperature control and a clean environment are critical. The furnace accommodates a high purity alumina processing tube with a 60 mm outer diameter, enabling effective containment and uniform heating of samples.
This compact bench-top furnace features Kanthal Super-1800C grade molybdenum disilicide (MoSi2) heating elements, known for their durability and high-temperature capability. The heating chamber is lined with high purity alumina refractory board to ensure thermal efficiency and stability. Vacuum sealing flanges equipped with valves and a vacuum gauge allow for reliable vacuum or gas atmosphere operation, with vacuum levels achievable down to 50 mTorr using a mechanical pump or 10^-5 torr with a turbo molecular pump (vacuum pumps sold separately).

Configuration & Operating Notes
The furnace includes alumina tube blocks to minimize heat radiation inside the tube and vacuum sealing flanges with valves and a vacuum gauge for immediate vacuum operation. Quartz tube blocks are available optionally for cleaner processing and improved vacuum efficiency. The furnace can be optionally controlled via PC using the MTS-02 control module, which must be ordered separately. Users should perform temperature calibration before use to ensure accuracy. Vacuum operation is recommended up to 1500°C for safety. Gas flow rates should be limited to below 200 ml/min to avoid thermal shock. A gas pressure regulator is necessary when using high-pressure gas cylinders to prevent overpressurization.
