The OTF2-VBF-GB system addresses the need for precise atmosphere control during high-temperature sample processing. It combines a glovebox environment with advanced purification technology that reduces water vapor and oxygen concentrations to below 1 part per million (PPM). This ultra-pure atmosphere is essential for handling moisture- and oxygen-sensitive materials immediately after heat treatment.
Three tube furnaces are integrated with the glovebox to enable seamless transfer of heat-treated samples without exposure to ambient air. Two single-zone tube furnaces flank the glovebox, each capable of reaching a maximum temperature of 1200°C with continuous operation at 1100°C. A vertical tube furnace located beneath the glovebox operates up to 1100°C continuously at 1000°C. The system includes a recirculating water chiller to support the bottom flange sealing of the vertical furnace, ensuring stable operation and preventing leaks during high-temperature processing.
