The MSK-DPC-B500-LD is engineered to meet the demanding requirements of battery electrode manufacturing through a roll-to-roll calendaring process. It enables precise thickness control and uniform compression of electrode materials by applying adjustable pressure between two hardened alloy rollers. This system is optimized for electrodes up to 520 mm wide, facilitating high-throughput production with a maximum rolling speed of 20 meters per minute.
Equipped with a digital touch screen panel, the press allows real-time adjustment and monitoring of pressing force, roller gap, and rolling speed. The rollers, made from tool steel with a hardness rating of HRC 65 and a hardened layer thickness of approximately 19 mm, ensure durability and consistent surface finish. The press gap is finely adjustable from 0 to 2 mm with a tolerance of 0.001 mm, supporting thickness accuracy within ±0.0025 mm and surface roughness below Ra 0.2.
