This hybrid applicator integrates two stainless steel components: a 250 mm wide doctor blade and a 150 mm wide slot die head. The doctor blade is equipped with dual micrometers allowing film thickness adjustment from 0.01 mm up to 5 mm. The slot die head, which can be mounted onto the doctor blade, enables coating of films as thin as 0.005 mm to 0.02 mm. This versatility allows users to switch between coating methods depending on the material and film requirements.
