FMF-150-M Vacuum Levitation Melting Furnace with 35KW Induction Heater, 2100°C Max, 150g Capacity and Casting Function
The FMF-150-M is engineered for precise melting and casting of advanced magnetic alloys under vacuum conditions. It addresses the challenge of contamination and thermal inhomogeneity by employing a cold crucible levitation melting technique, which suspends the metallic sample electromagnetically without direct contact with the crucible. This ensures high purity and uniform alloy composition.
The system integrates a 35KW induction heater capable of reaching temperatures up to 2100°C, suitable for melting iron-based samples up to 150 grams. The water-cooled copper crucible is housed inside a stainless steel vacuum chamber, which includes an observation window, digital pressure gauge, and pressure release valve. Vacuum levels can be monitored and controlled precisely, with an optional turbo pumping system available for achieving high vacuum.

Typical Applications
Ideal for research and development of new-generation magnetic alloys requiring high purity and precise thermal control. Suitable for melting and casting small metallic samples under vacuum to prevent oxidation and contamination.
Configuration & Operating Notes
The system includes a water chiller for the copper crucible cooling and a rotary mechanical vacuum pump. For enhanced vacuum performance, a turbo pumping system with a two-stage backing pump is available as an option. The casting function requires an additional tiltable coil and crucible accessory to pour molten metal into water-cooled molds. Operators should ensure proper water flow rates and vacuum conditions to maintain system integrity and sample quality.
