IMCS-1700HP High-Pressure Induction Melting and Casting System with 1 MPa Pressure and 1700°C Max Temperature
The IMCS-1700HP is engineered for advanced laboratory melting and casting tasks requiring precise control of temperature and atmosphere. It is capable of melting up to 2 kg of various alloys at temperatures reaching 1700°C under a high-pressure argon environment up to 1 MPa (10 bars). This system supports processes such as alloy granulation, melt and slag separation, and composite material fabrication through melt infiltration techniques.
The furnace integrates an induction heating power source with a frequency range of 30 to 80 kHz and a maximum input power of 25 kW. The melting chamber is constructed from stainless steel 304 with a water cooling jacket to maintain surface temperatures below 60°C, ensuring operational safety and stability. The system also features a bottom casting chamber equipped with a vacuum port and digital vacuum gauge, supported by a double-stage rotary vane vacuum pump for controlled casting under vacuum conditions.

Typische Anwendungsbereiche
This system is ideal for research and development involving high-temperature alloy melting, granulation of metal powders, separation of slag from molten metals, and fabrication of composite materials through melt infiltration under controlled high-pressure inert gas atmospheres.
Hinweise zur Konfiguration und zum Betrieb
The IMCS-1700HP includes a complete refractory assembly made from alumina, comprising the crucible holder, bottom support, and cover. Optional accessories such as a graduating crucible and grain-making tank for producing 1–6 mm spherical beads are available. Customized graphite crucibles for melt infiltration can be supplied upon request. Operators must use appropriate pressure regulators to ensure input gas pressure does not exceed 10 bars and wear protective goggles during operation due to the high-pressure environment.
