BGP-R8-D Multi-Vessel Rotary Reactor with Oven up to 250°C and 3 MPa Pressure for Mixing and Ball Milling
The BGP-R8-D rotary reactor is engineered to facilitate complex laboratory processes requiring controlled high-temperature mixing, ball milling, and hydrothermal treatment. It accommodates multiple vessels simultaneously, enabling parallel processing under precisely regulated thermal and pressure conditions. This system is ideal for researchers needing uniform mixing and milling within a heated environment up to 250°C and pressures reaching 3 MPa.
Equipped with a convection oven featuring a stainless steel lining and a PT100 temperature sensor, the reactor ensures stable temperature control with a digital PID controller maintaining ±1°C accuracy. The rotary mechanism uses a high-torque 24 VDC motor housed inside the unit for space efficiency, providing adjustable speeds from 0 to 300 RPM depending on vessel size. Standard configurations include clamps for 8 vessels of 50 mL, 6 vessels of 100 mL, or 4 vessels of 200 mL capacity, all rated for maximum pressures of 3 MPa.

Typical Applications
This rotary reactor is suitable for advanced laboratory processes such as homogeneous hydrothermal synthesis, high-temperature mixing of powders or slurries, and ball milling under controlled pressure and temperature conditions. It supports parallel sample processing, enhancing throughput in materials research, chemical synthesis, and catalyst development.
Configuration and Operating Notes
The unit includes power cable without plug; a 3000 W transformer is recommended for 120 V/20 A operation and must be ordered separately. Vessel clamps can be customized in quantity and size upon request. Due to the high-pressure operation, it is strongly advised to use the reactor within an explosion-proof enclosure and to wear appropriate safety goggles during operation to ensure user safety.
