OTF1200XVHP6 Vacuum Hot Press Furnace with 6-Inch Tube, 1100°C Max Temperature and 20 Ton Pressing Force
The OTF1200XVHP6 is engineered for laboratory-scale preparation of dense composite materials requiring precise vacuum or inert gas environments. This system integrates a vertical split-type tube furnace with a 6-inch diameter quartz tube and a high-capacity programmable electric press capable of exerting up to 20 tons of force. It is ideal for processes demanding controlled temperature and pressure to achieve material densification and bonding.
The furnace utilizes Ni-Cr-Al resistance wire heating to reach temperatures up to 1100°C within a 300 mm heating zone. Temperature control is managed by a digital controller with 50 programmable segments and ±1.0°C accuracy, displayed on a user-friendly touchscreen interface. The system includes water-cooled vacuum-sealed flanges and a quartz tube with KF-25D vacuum ports, enabling vacuum levels down to 10⁻⁴ Torr with an optional turbo pumping station.

Typical Applications
This vacuum hot press furnace is suited for sintering and densification of composite materials, ceramics, and advanced functional materials under controlled atmospheres. It supports research and development in materials science, battery electrode fabrication, and other fields requiring precise thermal and pressure processing.
Configuration & Operating Notes
The system includes one set of 1″ ID graphite pressing dies and graphite pressing rods. Graphite dies are consumable and fragile; additional sets can be ordered. Optional alumina or boron nitride pressing rods are available. Water-cooled vacuum flanges require a minimum water flow of 12 L/min; a recirculating water chiller is recommended to conserve water. For vacuum operation, a suitable vacuum pump must be selected separately. Safe operation requires a two-stage pressure regulator on gas cylinders to limit pressure below 3 PSI.
