SPG50K25AB-GB Automatic Induction Melting and Casting System with Stirring Function and Dual-Chamber Glovebox

The SPG50K25AB-GB system is engineered to facilitate the automated melting and casting of metal samples in a controlled inert atmosphere. It integrates a dual-chamber glovebox with an induction melting and casting setup, enabling researchers to handle reactive or sensitive materials safely while maintaining high throughput. This system supports batch processing of up to 10 samples within approximately 8 hours, making it suitable for alloy development and materials research requiring precise environmental control.

The glovebox is constructed from 304 stainless steel and features a gas purification system that maintains oxygen and moisture levels below 1 ppm. An automatic antechamber door and programmable control sequences allow for efficient sample loading and unloading, which can be further automated with an optional AGV (automated guided vehicle) for continuous 24/7 operation. The induction heater includes a water-cooled coil with thermal insulation and a built-in rotary blade for stirring molten materials, enhancing homogeneity during melting.

Key Features

  • Dual-chamber glovebox with automatic antechamber doors and gas purification achieving O2 and H2O levels below 1 ppm.
  • 15 kW induction heater operating at 80 kHz frequency, capable of reaching temperatures up to 2000°C.
  • Integrated rotary blade for stirring molten samples to ensure uniform alloy composition.
  • Capacity to process 10 graphite crucibles and 10 water-cooled copper casting molds per batch.
  • Precision digital temperature controller with automatic PID tuning and 30 programmable segments for heating and cooling profiles.
  • Automated melting and casting sequence controlled by computer and robotic arm for sample handling.
  • Optional integration with AGV for fully automated loading/unloading enabling continuous operation.
