PTL-HT-4 High-Temperature Programmable Dip Coater with Dual-Zone Vertical Furnace up to 1200°C and Rotating Pulling Rod for Samples up to 4″ Diameter
The PTL-HT-4 is engineered to support advanced research and development tasks requiring precise dip coating of films on substrates. It enables the preparation of optical and epitaxial films by immersing samples into liquid solutions and controlling the thermal environment during coating. The system accommodates samples with a maximum diameter of 4 inches and length up to 300 mm, allowing them to pass through a high-temperature vertical furnace with two independently programmable heating zones.
This dip coater integrates a vertical tube furnace capable of reaching temperatures up to 1200°C, with continuous operation at 1100°C. The dual-zone design, each 200 mm in length, permits the creation of temperature gradients essential for tailored film deposition processes. A sealed tube containing the coating solution is positioned at the furnace base at room temperature, while the sample is precisely lowered and withdrawn through the heated zones using a motorized pulling rod equipped with rotation functionality to ensure uniform film thickness.

Typical Applications
The PTL-HT-4 is suited for research involving thin film deposition from liquid solutions, including optical coatings, epitaxial film growth, and materials science studies requiring precise thermal gradients and uniform coating thickness on cylindrical or disk-shaped substrates.
Configuration & Operating Notes
The system requires a separate liquid container for the coating solution, which is not included. Customers should select a beaker compatible with their solution volume and sample dimensions. An optional quartz tube with flange can be installed for atmosphere control during processing. Pulling wires for higher temperature operation are available as optional accessories. Proper handling and safety precautions should be observed when operating at elevated temperatures.
