OTF1200XIISR5 Two-Zone Rotary Tube Furnace with 5″ Quartz Tube, Up to 1100°C for Powder Coating and Inorganic Material Calcining

The OTF1200XIISR5 rotary tube furnace is engineered for laboratory processes requiring uniform heat treatment of powders and inorganic materials. Its design facilitates powder coating, synthesis of core-shell structures, and calcination by providing controlled rotation and precise temperature management within a quartz tube environment.

This furnace incorporates two independently controlled heating zones over a 280 mm length, allowing temperature uniformity up to 1100°C. The 5-inch diameter fused quartz tube includes four internal mixing blades to ensure effective tumbling and mixing of powder samples during rotation, which can be adjusted from 0 to 10 rpm. The system supports atmosphere control with gas inlet and outlet fittings and can operate under pressures below 3 psig.

Key Features

  • Dual PID programmable temperature controllers with 30 segments and ±1°C accuracy.
  • 5″ fused quartz tube with 1100 mm length and four mixing blades for uniform powder tumbling.
  • Rotary speed adjustable from 0 to 10 rpm for controlled sample agitation.
  • Atmosphere control via rotary gas fittings with magnetic fluid seals and 1/4″ tube gas inlet/outlet.
  • Optional stainless steel tube (SS310) available for applications requiring max 900°C operation.
  • Vacuum pump options for pressures down to 1e-4 torr with low leak rate.
  • Standalone temperature control tower for ease of operation.
