OTF1200XIIS25 Dual Heating Zone Compact Split Tube Furnace with 1200°C Max Temperature and Optional 1″ or 2″ Quartz Tube
The OTF1200XIIS25 furnace is engineered for laboratory applications requiring precise thermal control and flexible atmosphere conditions. It is particularly suited for processes demanding stable temperature zones or controlled temperature gradients within a compact footprint. This split tube furnace accommodates quartz tubes of either 1″ or 2″ outer diameter, enabling vacuum or gas flow heating through integrated vacuum sealing flanges and hose fittings.
Its dual heating zones, each 100 mm in length, can be independently regulated to create either a uniform temperature zone up to 100 mm long or a temperature gradient up to 200°C. The furnace achieves a maximum temperature of 1200°C for short durations and continuous operation at 1100°C, with a heating rate up to 20°C per minute. Precision PID controllers with K-type thermocouples provide accurate temperature control within ±1°C and support up to 30 programmable heating and cooling segments.

Typical Applications
This furnace is suitable for materials research, thermal treatment, annealing, sintering, and chemical vapor deposition processes requiring controlled temperature zones and vacuum or inert gas atmospheres. It supports experiments needing precise temperature gradients or uniform heating within quartz tubes.
Configuration & Operating Notes
The furnace includes fibrous ceramic tube blocks for thermal insulation inside the quartz tube. Optional quartz blocks and flange supports are available to enhance vacuum performance and prevent tube rotation. Vacuum pumps, vacuum valves, quick connecting flanges, and temperature calibration kits can be ordered separately to complement the system. Proper insertion of ceramic blocks before heating is essential to avoid heat radiation loss. The 1/4″ barb fitting allows connection to vacuum or gas lines for controlled atmosphere processing. Safety features include over-temperature protection and thermocouple failure alarms integrated into the controllers.
