MSKSFM192LN High Energy Impact Ball Mill with Dual 50 ml Stainless Steel Jars and 48-Tube Adapters for High-Throughput Wet & Dry Milling
MSKSFM192LN is engineered for laboratories requiring efficient milling and mixing of multiple samples simultaneously, especially when handling both wet and dry materials. It supports high-throughput workflows by accommodating two 50 ml stainless steel jars for bulk milling alongside adapters that hold up to 48 individual 2 ml microcentrifuge tubes, enabling parallel processing of diverse samples. This versatility makes it ideal for applications demanding rapid pulverization and homogenization of materials ranging from metals to oxides.
The mill operates by imparting radial oscillations that generate kinetic energy, causing milling balls inside the jars to impact and grind the sample material against the jar walls. The vibration frequency is adjustable from 300 to 2000 swings per minute with a maximum amplitude of 25 mm, allowing optimization for different sample types. Cryogenic milling is supported by pre-cooling the jars in liquid nitrogen, facilitating the processing of temperature-sensitive or elastic substances. Its compact design also permits operation inside inert atmosphere or vacuum gloveboxes for controlled environment milling.
