MSK-HTML-SLA16 Automated Electrolyte Preparation and 16-Channel Coin Cell Assembling System for Battery R&D

The MSK-HTML-SLA16 system addresses the need for efficient and reproducible electrolyte formulation and coin cell fabrication in battery research laboratories. It enables researchers to explore novel electrolyte compositions by automating the preparation of liquid and powder components and assembling coin cells for performance evaluation.

This integrated platform combines a multi-source electrolyte preparation unit with a 16-channel coin cell assembly line. The electrolyte preparation accommodates six liquid solutions (three main at 1000 mL and three auxiliary at 500 mL) and five powders (each 300 mL), allowing formulation of up to 48 unique electrolyte recipes. Magnetic stirring ensures homogeneity, while robotic arms handle sample and container movement. The coin cell assembly includes precise electrolyte filling and crimping for consistent cell fabrication.

Key Features

  • Automated electrolyte preparation with six liquid and five powder inputs enabling 48 recipe combinations.
  • Magnetic stirring unit capable of homogenizing four samples simultaneously.
  • Six-axis and four-axis robotic arms for precise sample handling and assembly operations.
  • 16-channel coin cell assembly line with pre-loaded components for high-throughput fabrication.
  • Electrolyte filling accuracy of ±2 μL using syringe pumps.
  • Powder dispensing modules with ±2.5 mg accuracy for precise solid ingredient dosing.
  • Glovebox environment maintaining oxygen and moisture levels below 5 ppm to protect sensitive materials.
