GSL-MW-25 Microwave Heated Tube Furnace with Up to 1200°C Max Temperature and Optional Quartz Tube Diameters

The GSL-MW-25 microwave heated tube furnace is engineered for laboratory applications requiring controlled high-temperature environments with rapid heating capabilities. It supports continuous operation up to 1100°C and can reach a maximum temperature of 1200°C for short durations under 30 minutes, making it suitable for advanced material synthesis, thermal processing, and research requiring precise temperature control.

This furnace accommodates quartz tubes with outer diameters of 25 mm, 40 mm, or 50 mm, allowing flexibility in sample size and experimental setups. The quartz tube is vacuum-sealed with a flange that includes a valve, gauge, and thermocouple feedthrough, enabling vacuum conditions down to 10⁻⁵ torr when used with a turbopump. The design incorporates stainless steel and aluminum shielding to protect against microwave radiation leakage.

Key Features

  • Microwave power output of 1500W at 2.45 GHz frequency with leakage ≤3 mW/cm² at 1 meter distance.
  • SiC fibrous heating elements and SiC ring heating element encased in fibrous alumina for efficient thermal insulation.
  • Advanced SCR temperature controller with 30 programmable segments, autotune function, and ±1°C control accuracy.
  • Rapid heating rates programmable between 10°C/min and 150°C/min, with a maximum ramp rate of 20°C/min under typical operation.
  • Vacuum-cast thermal insulation material enhances energy efficiency and temperature stability.
  • Quartz tube options with vacuum-sealed flange including valve, gauge, and thermocouple feedthrough for controlled atmosphere processing.
  • CE certified with optional NRTL certification available upon request.
