The standard package includes the YLJ-15 manual hydraulic press, one heatable pressing die with temperature controller, and an operation manual on CD. Optional accessories include boron nitride insulating liners for electrical conductivity studies, which are consumable and single-use only. When using BN liners, a special 10.75 mm ID die must be ordered.
Users should avoid pressing powders with particle sizes below 30 microns to prevent damage to the pressing die. Proper cleaning of die components after each use is essential to prevent corrosion. The bottom cylinder travel should not exceed 13 mm to avoid mechanical damage. Operators must wear protective goggles during operation. The release lever must be closed before moving the press to prevent oil leakage.
