Proper use of cutting fluids is critical to prevent corrosion and maintain blade performance. Oil-based lubricants or specialized coolants like LubeCool-150 are recommended. The machine should be cleaned after each use, especially the lead screw, to avoid rust and ensure smooth axis movement. For cutting sticky materials, frequent blade dressing with the included dressing stone is advised to maintain sharpness.
