A distinctive feature of this model is its vertical sliding mechanism located at the rear of the furnace. This system allows a vacuum-sealed quartz tube with flange to be rapidly inserted into or withdrawn from the heating chamber, enabling accelerated heating rates and fast cooling or quenching of samples. The furnace supports quartz tubes of 2″ (50mm OD) and 3.1″ (80mm OD) diameters, both with KF16 flange ports for vacuum gauge connection and gas inlet with needle valve for controlled atmospheres.
