The KSL-1200X-J-Q is designed for laboratory applications requiring rapid thermal processing with precise temperature control up to 1200°C. It features a vertical sliding mechanism that allows a vacuum-sealed quartz tube to be quickly inserted into or lifted out of the heating chamber, enabling fast heating and rapid cooling cycles essential for quenching materials or controlled atmosphere treatments.
This furnace operates as a box furnace with a spacious heating chamber measuring 150mm diameter by 155mm width and 180mm height (6″x6″x7″), providing a 4.2-liter volume for sample processing. It can also function as a vacuum tube furnace when equipped with optional 2″ or 3.1″ outer diameter quartz tubes with flanges, which are inserted from the top. The vacuum tube setup supports high vacuum or controlled gas atmospheres, facilitated by a built-in KF16 port for vacuum gauge connection and included gas inlet with needle valve.

The furnace includes a digital temperature controller with PC communication capability via DB9 port and software for programming complex temperature profiles. The vacuum tube and flange system is optional and must be selected separately. Additional vacuum components such as vacuum valves, gauges, bellows, and pumps (mechanical or turbopumps) are available as accessories to complete the vacuum system setup.
The power cable is supplied without a plug; users must install a plug compatible with their local power standards or select one from available options. The furnace is not suitable for operation at 110V.
