The MSK-AFA-PD200 is engineered for laboratory-scale slot die coating tasks requiring high precision and control, particularly for polymer and polymer composite films. It is well suited for research on flexible electrodes, solid-state battery components, perovskite solar cells, and thermoelectric sheets, where uniform thin film deposition is critical.
This coater integrates a vacuum chuck capable of securely holding flexible substrates up to 5 mm thick over an area of 360 mm by 250 mm, with a maximum coating area of 300 mm by 200 mm. The system supports an optional heating function for both the slot die head and syringe pump, enabling processing of hot melt materials up to 100°C. The coating width is standard at 150 mm, with other widths available on request.
