The KSL-1700X-A4-DC furnace is designed for demanding laboratory and industrial applications requiring precise high-temperature processing up to 1700°C. Its 36-liter chamber (12″ x 12″ x 16″) accommodates a variety of sample sizes and materials, making it suitable for research and development tasks such as material sintering, heat treatment, and thermal testing. The furnace’s dual-controller system enhances operational safety by providing independent temperature monitoring and alarm functions.
This model features a robust construction with a double steel shell and integrated cooling fan to maintain a safe external temperature. The interior is lined with high-purity alumina fiber bricks and coated with alumina rated for 1765°C, ensuring excellent insulation and durability. Heating is achieved via ten MoSi2 (molybdenum disilicide) elements, capable of continuous operation at 1600°C and short-term peaks up to 1700°C. The furnace includes a gas inlet and outlet system for inert gas purging, supporting controlled atmosphere processes.
