The reactor chamber, constructed from stainless steel 304, measures 55 mm internal diameter by 61 mm outer diameter and 100 mm depth, with a maximum material capacity of 200 ml including milling balls. Heating is applied externally via a ring heater, controlled by a programmable unit with ±1ºC accuracy, ensuring stable and reproducible thermal conditions. Gas inlet and outlet ports with valves enable controlled atmosphere experiments, with a maximum gas flow rate below 5 L/min and a working pressure limit of 0.3 MPa (3 bar) under standard configuration.

The reactor includes a set of stainless steel milling balls (6–20 mm). Additional stainless steel or yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ) balls can be ordered separately. The control unit is separate from the reactor, managing both temperature and vibration speed independently. Users must employ a two-stage gas regulator to ensure the maximum working pressure does not exceed 3 bar during operation. A thermocouple is not included but can be installed via the provided 1/4″ feedthrough flange. Optional upgrades for higher pressure operation (up to 20 bar) at reduced maximum temperatures are available at extra cost.
