Product Overview
MSKSFMDS is a compact disc crusher and grinder designed for fast crushing and grinding of ceramic and steel samples to particle sizes between 80 and 200 mesh. It is also known as a versatile ring and puck mill or shatterbox-type mill. This instrument is ideal for preparing samples such as coal, ore, rock, or ceramic compounds for finer milling after sintering.
The crusher features a steel grinding jar made of manganese steel with a capacity of 100 mL, suitable for processing approximately 50 grams of material per batch. The grinding jar has an inner diameter of 120 mm and a depth of 37.5 mm. The machine operates at 825 rpm powered by a 200W AC motor running on 220-240V AC at 50/60 Hz. For use with 120V AC, a transformer of at least 600W and 5A current is required (sold separately).
