SP-MSM208 Arc Melting System with Vacuum Suction Casting for Rod and Strip Production, 250A Power Supply
The system’s stainless steel (SS304) vacuum chamber is water-cooled to maintain a clean environment and prevent cross-contamination during multiple melting cycles. A built-in mechanical manipulator allows precise tilting and rotation of metal ingots within the vacuum chamber, facilitating re-melting processes without breaking vacuum. The front chamber door includes a tinted observation window for safe monitoring of the arc melting operation.
Wichtigste Merkmale
- Vacuum suction casting draws molten metal into a 6 mm diameter copper mold rod, enabling rapid solidification and reduced defects.
- Capable of melting samples under 10 g of iron-based alloys at temperatures up to 3000 °C under low vacuum or slight positive pressure.
- Water-cooled SS304 vacuum chamber, electrode, and copper crucible ensure contamination-free melting cycles.
- 7000W arc melting power supply delivering up to 250A with stable and reliable arc ignition.
- Mechanical manipulator for tilting and rotating samples inside the vacuum chamber without breaking vacuum.
- 4 mm diameter water-cooled tungsten electrode with adjustable tilt and height for precise melting control.
- Tinted observation window and front door (120 mm diameter) for safe sample loading and process monitoring.

Typische Anwendungsbereiche
Ideal for research and development involving melting and casting of small metal samples, especially iron-based alloys. Suitable for producing high-purity rods and strips with minimal defects for materials science, metallurgy, and battery electrode research.
Hinweise zur Konfiguration und zum Betrieb
Water cooling is mandatory for the vacuum chamber, copper mold, and electrode; a compatible recirculating water chiller is recommended but not included. High-purity inert gas (≥99.999%) is required to prevent oxidation during melting. The system includes a mechanical vacuum pressure gauge; an anti-corrosive capacitance diaphragm gauge is available optionally. The vacuum pump is not included and affects achievable vacuum levels. Safety precautions include wearing welding eye protection and avoiding electrode contact with the crucible or sample during melting. Optional accessories include larger crucibles, tilt casting kits, and rotation modules for sealing tubes.
