GSL-1500X-MGI-8 8-Channel Tube Furnace with Ø50 mm Alumina Tubes for High-Throughput Annealing up to 1500°C
The GSL-1500X-MGI-8 is engineered to facilitate high-throughput heat treatment experiments by accommodating eight independent alumina tube furnace modules within a compact footprint. Each module features a 50 mm outer diameter alumina tube, allowing simultaneous processing of multiple samples under distinct temperature and atmospheric conditions. This design is particularly suited for advanced research on phase diagrams and material properties in alloy and ceramic systems.
Each tube furnace module is thermally isolated by insulation and an air cooling layer to prevent thermal cross-talk, ensuring precise and independent temperature control up to 1500°C for short durations and continuous operation at 1300°C. The system integrates silicon carbide heating elements with a 160 mm heating zone, providing uniform heating within ±10°C at 1200°C over a 90 mm length. The furnace supports vacuum and controlled atmosphere processing via individual gas inlets and outlets equipped with needle valves, float flowmeters, and KF25 vacuum ports.

Typische Anwendungsbereiche
This multi-channel tube furnace is ideal for research requiring parallel annealing of multiple samples under different temperatures and atmospheres, such as phase diagram studies, alloy and ceramic material development, and atmosphere-sensitive heat treatments.
Hinweise zur Konfiguration und zum Betrieb
The furnace includes quick-seal water-cooled stainless steel flanges with mechanical pressure gauges for each tube. Users must install a pressure regulator on gas supply lines to maintain maximum tube pressure below 0.02 MPa. Opening the furnace chamber is not recommended when temperatures exceed 500°C. Optional PC control software and a laptop with LabVIEW-based interface are available for advanced temperature profile programming and data logging.
