GSL-1500X-50HG Compact Hydrogen Atmosphere Tube Furnace with 1500°C Max Temperature and 2″ High-Purity Alumina Tube
The GSL-1500X-50HG furnace is engineered for precise heat treatment of materials that are sensitive to oxidation, utilizing a controlled hydrogen atmosphere. It is particularly suited for applications requiring high-temperature processing up to 1500°C, such as reduction cycles and sintering of advanced materials. The furnace incorporates a 50 mm outer diameter high-purity alumina tube, providing a chemically inert and thermally stable environment for samples.
Safety and process control are enhanced by an integrated Honeywell hydrogen leak detector linked to solenoid valves that automatically shut off hydrogen supply, open nitrogen inlet, and cut power to heating elements upon detecting hydrogen leaks at 20% of the lower explosive limit. The furnace structure includes double-layer steel casing with air cooling and high-purity fibrous alumina insulation to maintain energy efficiency and surface temperatures below 60°C.

Ideal for heat treatment and reduction processes of oxidation-sensitive materials, including 3D-printed metal powder samples. Suitable for research involving controlled hydrogen atmospheres and inert gas environments.
Hinweise zur Konfiguration und zum Betrieb
The furnace must be operated under a suitable fume hood (not included) to safely manage hydrogen exhaust. The integrated hydrogen detection system automatically manages gas inlet valves and heating element power to ensure safety. Optional temperature control software and remote control packages are available for enhanced process management. Ceramic insulation blocks must be fully inserted before heating to reduce heat radiation. Hydrogen exhaust ignition requires manual ignition with the included lighter following validated safety procedures.
