The cutting thickness is regulated by a waterproof digital micrometer with a resolution of 0.001 mm and an accuracy of ±0.003 mm, allowing thickness adjustments from 0.35 mm upwards. The cutting width can be set between 1 mm and 24 mm, accommodating a variety of sample sizes.

Configuration & Operating Notes
The standard package includes the saw unit, three types of 6″ cutting blades, digital micrometer, adjustable sample holder, mini-vise, protective plexiglass shield, balance weights, blade clamps, lubricant, and necessary tools and accessories. An extension power cord with feedthrough is provided for glove box operation under nitrogen atmosphere.
Users must apply an anti-corrosion lubricant during cutting to prevent rusting of the lead screw; water alone is not recommended. The included LubeCool-150 lubricant or motor oil can be used. Frequent blade sharpening with the included dressing stone is advised when cutting sticky or abrasive materials. The saw is not suitable for use with argon gas inside glove boxes.
