MSK-E2300B Automatic Battery Electrode Rolling Press with 25T Pressure Control and 300mm Width for Prototype Electrode Sheet Preparation
The MSK-E2300B is engineered to meet the demanding needs of battery research laboratories and pilot production lines for preparing uniform electrode sheets. It enables precise rolling and pressing of battery electrode materials, ensuring consistent thickness and density critical for prototype and small-scale rechargeable battery development. The system supports roll-to-roll processing of electrode sheets up to 75 meters in length with a maximum width of 300 mm, facilitating efficient sample preparation under controlled conditions.
This compact system integrates tension-controlled feeding and winding mechanisms with a pressure-controlled electric rolling machine. The rolling pressure is digitally adjustable up to 25 tons, allowing fine control over electrode compaction. The roller gap can be precisely set between 0.05 and 1 mm with a tolerance of 0.003 mm, ensuring uniform pressing. A built-in rectifying sensor maintains proper alignment of the electrode foil during winding, enhancing the quality of the rolled product.
Key Features

Typical Applications
Ideal for laboratory and pilot-scale fabrication of battery electrode sheets with consistent thickness and density. Used in research and development of new generation rechargeable batteries, including lithium-ion and other chemistries. Supports prototype electrode preparation for cylindrical cell fabrication when equipped with optional edge slitting.
Configuration & Operating Notes
The system requires a 220V AC power plug (not included) and a compressed air supply at 60 psi. If using a gas cylinder instead of an air compressor, a two-stage pressure regulator must be installed to ensure safe operation within pressure limits. The rollers must be cleaned and dried with acetone after each use to prevent rust. Multi-step thickness calendaring is recommended, reducing thickness by 0.02 mm increments per pass. Materials harder than 50 HRC should not be rolled to avoid damage. The machine includes a pre-installed edge position controller for film alignment during winding. Optional electrode edge slitting is available for cylindrical cell electrode preparation. The equipment is not suitable for use in hazardous or flammable environments.
