OTF1200XIII-PGEP Ultrasonic Spray Pyrolysis Furnace with 3-Zone 1200°C Tube Furnace and Electrostatic Nanopowder Collector for Nanoparticle Synthesis and AACVD

The OTF1200XIII-PGEP system is engineered to facilitate advanced nanoparticle synthesis through ultrasonic spray pyrolysis, enabling precise control over particle size, morphology, and microstructure. It is especially suited for producing nano- and core-shell structured particles and supports aerosol-assisted chemical vapor deposition (AACVD) processes. This system integrates three critical stages: aerosol generation, thermal decomposition, and nanopowder collection, streamlining nanoparticle fabrication workflows.

Liquid precursor droplets are atomized by a 1.7 MHz ultrasonic enhanced bubbler, which operates without thermal evaporation, producing a fine aerosol. The aerosol passes through a 900 mm long three-zone tube furnace with independently controlled zones, capable of reaching a maximum temperature of 1200°C for short durations and continuous operation at 1100°C. Thermal and chemical reactions within the furnace convert the aerosol into nanoparticles. The system’s furnace can be tilted to prevent liquid backflow into the atomizing tank, enhancing operational reliability.

Key Features

  • 1.7 MHz ultrasonic aerosol generator with eight adjustable power levels and integrated liquid injection pump for precise precursor delivery.
  • Three-zone tube furnace with 300 mm zones, total heating length of 900 mm, and temperature uniformity ±2°C.
  • Maximum furnace temperature of 1200°C (short duration) and continuous operation at 1100°C with programmable temperature controllers.
  • High-voltage electrostatic precipitator with 30 kV supply and double-layer collector design for efficient nanopowder collection (700 mL capacity).
  • Quartz processing tube (20.5 mm ID, 25 mm OD, 1400 mm length) connecting aerosol generator to precipitator.
  • Adjustable carrier gas flowmeter (0–200 SCCM) with optional mass flow controller for precise gas flow control.
  • Tiltable furnace configuration to prevent liquid backflow and enhance process stability.

Typical Applications

This system is ideal for research and development of nanoparticles with controlled size and morphology, including core-shell structures. It supports aerosol-assisted chemical vapor deposition for thin film and coating applications. Suitable for materials science, nanotechnology, and chemical synthesis laboratories focusing on advanced nanopowder production.

Configuration & Operating Notes

The system includes an ultrasonic aerosol generator with integrated liquid injection pump and carrier gas flowmeter. A fused quartz processing tube connects the aerosol generator to the furnace and electrostatic precipitator. The furnace features three independent temperature controllers with programmable profiles and safety alarms. The electrostatic precipitator requires connection to an external vacuum pump, which is not included. The furnace can be tilted to prevent liquid backflow. Optional accessories include a mass flow controller for gas flow precision, Eurotherm temperature controllers for enhanced accuracy, and software for temperature profile management and Wi-Fi control.
