VBF-1200X-H-AM Automatic Vacuum Chamber Furnace with 1100°C Max Temperature, 7.6 L Quartz Chamber, Programmable Atmosphere and Door Control

Temperature control is programmable with up to 30 segments for ramping, dwelling, and cooling, maintaining accuracy within ±1°C. The furnace can reach temperatures up to 1100°C for short durations (up to 30 minutes) at ambient pressure, or sustain continuous operation up to 1000°C under vacuum or ambient conditions. The heating module consists of a fibrous alumina element with Fe-Cr-Al wires, ensuring uniform heating. The system integrates a multifunctional stainless steel water-cooled flange assembly with automatic sliding door operation, controllable via a touchscreen panel or PC interface. Atmosphere regulation is managed through a built-in mass flow controller, enabling vacuum levels down to 5×10⁻² torr with the included mechanical pump, or lower with an optional turbopump.

Key Features

  • Horizontal quartz chamber (Ø190×340 mm) with 7.6 L volume for versatile sample accommodation.
  • Maximum temperature up to 1100°C (30 min) and continuous operation at 1000°C under vacuum or ambient pressure.
  • Programmable temperature control with 30 segments and ±1°C accuracy via touchscreen or PC.
  • Automatic sliding door with programmable open/close sequences for process automation.
  • Integrated atmosphere control with mass flow controller and vacuum capability down to 5×10⁻² torr.

Typical Applications

This furnace is suitable for advanced materials research and development tasks requiring controlled atmosphere heat treatment, such as annealing, sintering, oxidation/reduction studies, and vacuum processing. Its programmable atmosphere and temperature control make it ideal for semiconductor, ceramics, metallurgy, and battery materials laboratories.

Configuration & Operating Notes

The furnace includes a mechanical vacuum pump and water chiller for flange cooling as standard. Users may optionally add a turbopump for deeper vacuum levels and a Eurotherm temperature controller for enhanced temperature accuracy (±0.1°C). The automatic door and atmosphere control can be programmed via the touchscreen or PC interface. For automated sample handling, integration with a robotic arm is available upon request, supported by an open communication protocol. Proper water cooling and vacuum system maintenance are essential for safe and reliable operation.
