YLJ-CSP-40TA Electric Hydraulic Cold Sintering Press with 40T Force and Heatable Dies up to 250°C

The YLJ-CSP-40TA is engineered to facilitate cold sintering processes for advanced ceramic, polymer, and ceramic–polymer composite materials. It is particularly suited for laboratory research involving microwave dielectric materials, solid-state electrolytes, and semiconductor fabrication. This press combines high pressing force with controlled heating to enable low-temperature densification of materials that are sensitive to conventional high-temperature sintering.

The system integrates an electric hydraulic pump capable of delivering up to 40 metric tons of force with an automatic pressure limit switch and warning timer for safe operation. Its uniaxial pressing dies are electrically heatable, supporting temperatures up to 250°C, controlled by a programmable digital temperature controller featuring PID auto-tuning and ±1°C stability. Optional die sizes and accessories allow customization for various sample dimensions and experimental requirements.

Key Features

  • Maximum pressing force of 40 metric tons with precise hydraulic pressure control and preset limit switch.
  • Electrically heatable uniaxial dies with selectable inner diameters of 0.5″, 1.5″, or 3″ made from high-strength tool steel (hardness > RC60).
  • Programmable single-segment digital temperature controller with PID auto-tuning and ±1°C temperature stability.
  • Operating temperature range from 50°C to 200°C with transparent cover installed, up to 250°C without cover.
  • Built-in electric hydraulic pump with pressure gauge and automatic pressure stop at preset limits.
  • Optional electrically insulating boron nitride (BN) liner available for studying sample conductivity under pressure.
  • Includes standard accessories such as machine oil, Allen wrench set, fuse, and operation manual.

  • Fabrication and study of semiconductor materials under controlled pressure and temperature.
  • Low-temperature sintering processes requiring precise force and temperature control.

Configuration & Operating Notes

The standard package includes the YLJ-40TA press with built-in hydraulic pump, one heatable pressing die with temperature controller, machine oil, Allen wrench set, fuse, and an operation manual on CD. Optional accessories include different die sizes and an electrically insulating boron nitride liner for conductivity studies.

Users should clean die components immediately after use to prevent corrosion. Preheating the die assembly without pressure is recommended to avoid cracking. Powder particle size should be controlled between 32–75 µm; avoid particles below 30 µm to prevent damage. The maximum hydraulic cylinder travel is 16 mm; verify limits before operation. Operation inside a glovebox is not recommended; for inert atmosphere, consider the YLJ-CSP-15 manual press.
