YLJ-1220-W 5.5 KW Wire Rolling Mill with Rewinding Collector for Metallic Wire Diameter Reduction from 10mm to 1mm
The YLJ-1220-W is engineered for precision rolling of metallic wires, specifically designed to reduce wire diameters from 10 mm down to 1 mm. It is suitable for processing various metals including aluminum alloys, copper, nickel alloys, and stainless steel with a hardness rating below 50 HRC. This equipment is particularly useful in preparing wire feedstock for advanced manufacturing processes such as Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM).
Equipped with a robust 5.5 KW AC motor operating on 208-240V three-phase power, the mill delivers controlled rolling speeds adjustable up to 6 mm per second across 22 increments. The rolling mechanism features hardened DC53 steel rollers with a diameter of 120 mm and width of 200 mm, each roller surface grooved with square cross sections to accommodate wire sizes from 10 mm to 1 mm. An integrated automatic winding roller collects the rolled wire efficiently during operation.

Typical Applications
This rolling mill is ideal for reducing the diameter of metallic wires used in additive manufacturing, electrical wiring, and precision metal forming. It supports materials such as aluminum alloy, copper, nickel alloy, and stainless steel, making it suitable for industries requiring consistent wire dimensions and surface quality.
Configuration & Operating Notes
The machine includes an automatic winding roller for efficient collection of rolled wire. Operators should avoid rolling materials with hardness exceeding 50 HRC to prevent damage. For harder materials, incremental rolling thickness adjustments and post-rolling annealing may be necessary to prevent work hardening. NRTL certification can be requested as an optional upgrade for enhanced compliance.
