BGP-R2 Dual-Vessel Rotary Reactor with 50 ml Capacity, 230°C Max Temperature and 3 MPa Pressure for Hydrothermal Processing

The BGP-R2 rotary reactor is designed for laboratory-scale hydrothermal synthesis and high-temperature mixing tasks requiring precise control of temperature, pressure, and agitation. It accommodates two 50 ml vessels simultaneously, enabling parallel processing or comparative experiments under identical conditions. This setup is ideal for researchers working with small volumes of chemical or material samples that require elevated temperatures up to 230°C and pressures up to 3 MPa.

The reactor operates by rotating the vessels inside a heated oven chamber, ensuring uniform mixing and heat distribution. The vessels are made from corrosion-resistant 316L stainless steel and feature PTFE liners to protect samples and facilitate easy cleaning. The rotary motion is powered by a high-torque 24 VDC motor housed within the unit, offering adjustable speeds from 0 to 400 RPM to optimize mixing intensity for various sample viscosities and reaction kinetics.

Key Features

  • Two 50 ml stainless steel vessels with PTFE liners included for corrosion resistance and sample protection
  • Maximum operating temperature of 230°C for short durations, with 200°C sustainable for 8-12 hours
  • Pressure capability up to 3 MPa suitable for hydrothermal and high-pressure reactions
  • Forced air heating oven with stainless steel lining and digital PID temperature control accurate to ±1°C
  • Adjustable rotary speed from 0 to 400 RPM via internal 24 VDC motor
  • Digital control panel for setting temperature, rotation speed, and timing parameters
  • Anti-explosive observation window for safe monitoring of the reaction process

Typical Applications

This rotary reactor is suited for hydrothermal synthesis, chemical reaction studies under elevated temperature and pressure, material processing requiring uniform mixing, and small-scale batch reactions in research and development laboratories.

Configuration & Operating Notes

The unit includes two standard vessel clamps and two 50 ml vessels with PTFE liners. Operators should ensure the reactor is housed in an explosion-proof enclosure due to the high-pressure operation. Safety goggles are mandatory during use. Optional certifications such as NRTL or CSA can be requested at additional cost. A 1500W transformer is available separately for 110V operation.
