Operating on the principle of differential roller speeds, the MSK-SFM-65 features three zirconia rollers rotating at distinct speeds (26 rpm, 70 rpm, and 145 rpm) to create high centrifugal forces that shear and grind the material between them. The rollers’ surfaces are hard, smooth, and chemically resistant, minimizing contamination and wear. A water cooling system integrated into each roller helps maintain stable temperatures during milling, preventing oxidation or thermal degradation of sensitive materials.
