KSL-1700X-H2 High Temperature Hydrogen Atmosphere Box Furnace with 1650°C Max, 8x8x8 Inch Chamber
The KSL-1700X-H2 furnace is engineered for advanced material synthesis requiring a controlled dry hydrogen atmosphere at temperatures reaching up to 1650°C. Its design supports research and development tasks involving sensitive materials such as phosphorous and titanium alloys that demand a reducing environment to prevent oxidation during high-temperature processing.
This box furnace features a cubic heating chamber measuring 8 inches on each side, providing an 8-liter volume capable of accommodating sample loads up to 100 kg. The chamber is insulated with energy-efficient 1800-grade fibrous alumina bricks coated with high purity Al2O3, ensuring thermal stability and minimizing heat loss. The furnace housing is a double-layer stainless steel vacuum-sealed case equipped with a water cooling jacket and air-cooled shell to maintain operational safety and durability.

대표적인 적용 분야
This furnace is well suited for synthesizing advanced materials that require a reducing hydrogen atmosphere at high temperatures, including phosphorous compounds and titanium alloys. It is also applicable for research in materials science where precise temperature control and atmosphere regulation are critical.
구성 및 작동 안내
The furnace includes one Al2O3 fibrous door block that must be positioned at the chamber front to block heat radiation and protect the sealing ring from damage and hydrogen leakage at high temperatures. The Mo coil heating elements are consumable and must be ordered separately as needed. For operation under oxygen or air atmospheres, MoSi2 heating elements are available as an option.
A vacuum pump and chilled water supply are required for operation; recommended equipment includes a 240 L/min rotary vane vacuum pump and a 58 L/min recirculating water chiller. The furnace features comprehensive safety systems including hydrogen flame detection, automatic gas shutoff, and multiple alarms for temperature, pressure, and cooling system status. Users must complete safety operation training or sign a liability release agreement before purchase due to the hazards associated with hydrogen gas and high-temperature operation.
