This coater integrates a vacuum chuck system to firmly secure flexible substrates up to 5 mm thick, ensuring stable and uniform coating across a working area of up to 300 mm by 200 mm.
Equipped with a 150 mm wide slot die head made from SUS630 stainless steel, the coater supports coating viscosities up to 8000 cps and solid contents around 55% ± 20%. The system includes a sealed slurry feeding mechanism via an integrated syringe pump, which can optionally be heated to 100°C alongside the slot die head to accommodate temperature-sensitive materials. The coater operates with a 24V DC motor compatible with inert atmosphere gloveboxes, enabling use under argon to prevent contamination.
