The furnace includes a special vacuum flange compatible with its triple-layer tube design; however, vacuum flanges and fitting ports are sold separately. Standard fittings are 3/8″ barbed hose connectors, which can be replaced with KF25 adapters or 304SS Swagelok® tube fittings for enhanced vacuum or high-pressure gas supply. Users must install a two-stage pressure regulator on gas cylinders to maintain pressure below 3 PSI for safe operation. The quartz tube is designed for vacuum and low-pressure use below 0.2 bar. Gas flow rates should be limited to under 200 SCCM to minimize thermal shock to the tube. Optional digital vacuum gauges are available for precise pressure monitoring across a wide range.
