YLJ-5T-MG 5-Ton Manual Hydraulic Lab Press for Pellet Sample Preparation under Magnetic Field
The YLJ-5T-MG is a specialized manual hydraulic press designed to prepare pellet samples under controlled magnetic fields. It is particularly suited for laboratory applications requiring precise compression of powder samples into pellets while exposed to magnetic environments. The press incorporates a separable hydraulic pump, facilitating straightforward maintenance and operational reliability.
Constructed primarily from stainless steel 316 alloy, the press is optimized to operate within magnetic fields without interference or degradation. It provides a maximum pressing force of 5 tons, with a hydraulic cylinder travel distance adjustable from 0 to 8 mm, accommodating various sample thicknesses. The working chamber supports sample sizes up to 30 mm in diameter and 120 mm in height, suitable for typical pellet preparation tasks.

Typische Anwendungsbereiche
This press is ideal for preparing pellet samples from powders in research fields such as material science, magnetics, and solid-state chemistry, especially where magnetic field exposure during pressing is required. It supports pelletizing powders with particle sizes between 32 and 75 microns to avoid damage to the pressing die.
Hinweise zur Konfiguration und zum Betrieb
The press includes a polycarbonate safety shield as standard. Optional accessories include a compact electromagnet and pressing dies made of Si3N4 or stainless steel 316 for placement within the magnetic field center. Operators must wear protective goggles during use and avoid pressing powders with particle sizes smaller than 30 microns to prevent damage. The bottom hydraulic cylinder should not exceed its maximum travel of 25 mm. It is not recommended to operate the press inside a glove box. After extended idle periods, air elimination and oil level checks are advised before reuse. Cleaning the pressing die with ethanol after each experiment is recommended to maintain performance and longevity.
