Typische Anwendungsbereiche
The SP-MSM-8 is suited for research laboratories focusing on the development of new iron-based alloys and other metallic materials requiring precise compositional control and contamination-free melting. It supports high throughput synthesis for alloy screening, phase studies, and material property optimization.
Hinweise zur Konfiguration und zum Betrieb
The system includes a glove box with integrated purification, CNC-controlled arc melting stinger, water-cooled copper hearth, and a recirculating water chiller. Optional electromagnetic stirring or vacuum casting devices can be installed at the bottom of each cavity but cannot be used simultaneously. Operators must avoid contact between the tungsten electrode tip and the sample or copper hearth during melting to prevent damage. Safety precautions include wearing eye protection and handling hot samples with appropriate tools after cooling.
