RTP-MS Ultrafast Heating and Pressing Furnace with 2900°C Max Temperature, 180°C/s Heating Rate, and 100 kgf Pressing Force
The RTP-MS furnace is engineered for rapid thermal processing tasks requiring ultrafast heating and controlled pressing within a high-vacuum environment. It is particularly suited for flash sintering and ultrafast heating applications on small samples, offering a cost-effective alternative to spark plasma sintering (SPS) for certain research and development workflows.
This system features a stainless steel vacuum chamber equipped with a water cooling jacket to maintain thermal stability during operation. The chamber supports a maximum operating temperature of 2900°C with heating rates up to 180°C per second, enabling rapid temperature ramping for efficient material processing. The furnace integrates a digital infrared pyrometer for precise temperature measurement and control through a quartz observation window.

Typische Anwendungsbereiche
This furnace is ideal for rapid thermal processing, flash sintering, and ultrafast heating of ceramic, metallic, and composite materials in research laboratories. It supports densification and sintering of small pellets and samples where precise temperature control and high heating rates are critical. The system is also used for solid electrolyte pellet fabrication and other advanced material synthesis requiring vacuum and controlled pressing.
Hinweise zur Konfiguration und zum Betrieb
The standard configuration includes the stainless steel vacuum chamber, graphite sheet heaters, manual pressing rod, and digital IR pyrometer. Optional accessories include tungsten heaters, motorized pressing rod with PID pressure control, mechanical vacuum pump, and turbopump station for enhanced vacuum performance. A water chiller is required for operation but is not included; a recommended model is the KJ6200 recirculating water chiller or equivalent.
Temperature control can be manual or automated via PID controller with programmable segments. Pressure may vary with temperature due to thermal expansion; motorized pressing compensates for this effect. Safety precautions include proper handling of high temperatures, vacuum integrity, and electrical connections.
