OTF1200XIIR4-AF Two-Zone 1200°C Rotary CVD Furnace with Automatic Feeding and Receiving System
The OTF1200XIIR4-AF is engineered to facilitate continuous chemical vapor deposition (CVD) powder processing with precise atmosphere and temperature control. It is particularly suited for the calcination of inorganic compounds and the synthesis of lithium-ion battery materials such as LiFePO3 and LiMnNiO3 cathodes, as well as silicon/carbon anode materials via rotary CVD. The system’s automatic feeding and receiving mechanisms enable uninterrupted operation while maintaining material integrity by preventing air exposure.
This rotary tube furnace features two independently controlled heating zones, each 8 inches (200 mm) in length, providing a total heating zone of 16 inches (400 mm). The quartz processing tube rotates at adjustable speeds from 1 to 10 RPM, driven by a DC gear motor, ensuring uniform material treatment. The furnace can be tilted between -5° and 20° to optimize processing conditions. Temperature control is managed by dual PID controllers with 30 programmable segments, maintaining ±1°C stability.

Typische Anwendungsbereiche
This furnace is optimized for continuous CVD synthesis of battery materials, including cathode compounds like LiFePO3 and LiMnNiO3, and silicon/carbon composite anodes. It also supports calcination of inorganic powders requiring uniform heating and controlled atmosphere. The rotary mechanism ensures homogeneous coating and reaction throughout the powder batch.
Configuration and Operating Notes
The automatic feeding system is mounted on the tiltable furnace via a vacuum-sealed swivel assembly to maintain atmosphere integrity during continuous feeding. The receiving tank collects processed powder without air exposure, using a KF40 butterfly valve for hermetic sealing during loading and unloading. Optional configurations include a sealed transfer container setup with flexible bellows and butterfly valve for powder transport under inert conditions.
Users must operate the furnace under vacuum or low pressure (<0.2 bar) conditions. A two-stage pressure regulator is required on gas cylinders to limit pressure below 3 psi for safety. The quartz tube is rated for vacuum use up to 1000°C. PC software and wireless remote control options are available for advanced temperature profile management and data acquisition.
