OTF1200XIIH2 1100°C Hydrogen Gas Tube Furnace with Dual Heating Zones and Integrated H2 Leak Detector
The OTF1200XIIH2 furnace is engineered for precise heat treatment of materials that are sensitive to oxidation, utilizing a controlled hydrogen atmosphere. It is particularly suited for applications requiring a stable and safe environment to prevent oxidation during high-temperature processes. The furnace incorporates two independently controlled heating zones, allowing users to create either a temperature gradient or maintain uniform temperature distribution across the sample area.
This model operates continuously up to 1100°C, with a short-term capability reaching 1200°C. The heating zones each cover 200 mm, totaling 400 mm of heating length, ensuring ample space for various sample sizes. The furnace chamber includes a high-quality quartz tube available in 60 mm or 80 mm diameter options, with fibrous ceramic tube blocks supplied to minimize heat radiation losses. For enhanced vacuum efficiency and cleanliness, optional quartz blocks are available.
Key Features

Configuration & Operating Notes
The furnace must be installed under a fume hood (not included) for safe operation. Two fibrous ceramic tube blocks are supplied and must be fully inserted before heating to block heat radiation. Optional quartz blocks can be purchased for improved vacuum performance. Flanges with additional thermocouple feedthroughs or KF25 ports are available as options for in-situ measurements or vacuum connections. Water-cooled flanges are recommended if thermal blocks are not used. The gas disposal device safely burns exhausted hydrogen. A mandatory safety operation training is required prior to purchase to ensure proper handling of hydrogen hazards.
